With ‘Picasso: Painting the Blue Period,’ the AGO stakes its claim to furthering our understanding of the master


The exhibit tells a “fresh” story about Picasso’s artistic formation. Curator Kenneth Brummel hopes the show will shine a light on the Art Gallery of Ontario’s own connection to Picasso and bring attention to the value of works already in its vast collection.
