Descubriendo la huella de Isabel la Católica en Sevilla

La reina Isabel la Católica pisó por primera vez la ciudad de Sevilla un 24 de julio del año 1477. No llevó tropas, tan solo su séquito personal con algunos de las más valoradas personalidades de su Consejo. Llegó a la puerta de la Macarena donde fue recibida con gran solemnidad, según un escrito del historiador Hernando del Pulgar, quien contaba cómo se llevaron a cabo varios días de fiesta por este gran acontecimiento. El transcurrir de la monarca por Sevilla fue extenso y, quedó tan prendada de la capital hispalense, que fueron varios los momentos en los que la reina viajó a Sevilla. Durante estas visitas muchos fueron los importantes hechos históricos que coincidieron con sus estancias. Además, numerosos conventos, iglesias y palacios tuvieron la fortuna de recibirla. Desde la empresa turística Artetours quieren dar luz a esta parte de la historia sevillana ofreciendo un recorrido guiado llamado «Por aquí pasó Isabel la Católica», que persigue las huellas de la monarca. Esta ruta se puede realizar todos los jueves, viernes, sábados y domingos de agosto de este año. Con tan solo 27 años la reina era una justiciera que había venido a poner orden en una ciudad dividida. Su relación con Sevilla fue tal que es en esta ciudad donde tuvo a su primer hijo varón, bautizado en una Catedral que aún se encontraba en obras. Y continuó con sus labores en la capital hispalense, realizando cosas que marcarían la historia de España como, por ejemplo, la instauración de la Inquisición. Isabel la Católica demostró ser una mujer fuerte que, incluso, se autoproclamó reina sin la presencia de su marido en una época donde la figura femenina se tenía como inferior. En este sentido, cabe recordar que, en esos momentos, a pesar de existir monarquía el poder se localizaba en la nobleza y en la ciudad de Sevilla estaba rivalizado entre el Duque de Medina Sidonia y el Marqués de Cádiz, por lo que su figura fue necesaria para poner paz en esa guerra. Poco a poco el recorrido discurre por las calles y plazas del centro de la ciudad, en una hora y media de ruta que comienza en la Puerta de la Macarena. Multitud de lugares son testigos del paso de la reina y, por tanto, en cada uno hay una anécdota que contar. La visita tiene un precio de 10 euros, siendo de 5 euros para los niños entre 5 y 12 años y gratuita para los menores de 5 años. Da comienzo a las 22.00 horas los jueves y los viernes, sábados y domingos a las 21.00 y a las 22.00 horas.
