El Gobierno convoca a una reunión de Sanidad y Educación con las Comunidades Autónomas para abordar el comienzo de clases

La ministra de Educación, Isabel Celaá, y el de Sanidad, Salvador Illa, abordarán con los responsables autonómicos las condiciones en las que los alumnos regresarán a las aulas en septiembre, previsiblemente a partir del día 4. Las incógnitas sobre si las medidas de prevención de contagios serán suficientes y adecuadas ante el panorama epidemiológico y la capacidad de afrontar este escenario han generado durante los últimos días declaraciones políticas y protestas de trabajadores ante un comienzo de curso todavía incierto. Sin embargo, aun habrá que esperar: la reunión ha sido convocada para el 27 de agosto, dentro de ocho días.

Este miércoles los principales sindicatos educativos de la Comunidad de Madrid han convocado una huelga con fechas establecidas para la primera semana de septiembre, al considerar que no están garantizadas las condiciones para el comienzo de las clases.

Salvador Illa ha anunciado la reunión en la Interterritorial celebrada este mismo miércoles. Además, el Ministerio de Educación ha informado de que dos días antes del encuentro de los ministros con los consejeros se celebrará la Comisión General de Educación, con la presencia del secretario de Estado y viceconsejeros.

A la reunión del día 27 también asistirá la ministra de Política Territorial y Función Pública, Carolina Darias. De acuerdo con fuentes de Educación, todavía no se ha establecido un orden del día para el encuentro.
