Esto es lo que debería hacer España contra el coronavirus, según 30 reconocidos especialistas

Mejorar el método para evitar las peores consecuencias. Un grupo de 30 expertos, entre profesionales sanitarios y docentes universitarios, han unido sus conocimientos para plantear recomendaciones y nuevas medidas en la estrategia española frente al coronavirus.

Los firmantes, entre los que aparecen el exministro Miguel Sebastián o reconocidos especialistas como Adolfo García Sastre y Juan José Badiola,  piden, abandonar la estrategia de “convivencia” con el virus, “que ya ha fracasado en otros países”, para pasar a otra basada en la prevención y la detección precoz.

Por ello insisten en la necesidad de reforzar el sistema de rastreadores, para cumplir el objetivo de uno por cada 4.000-5.000 habitantes. El texto aconseja que “se trate de voluntarios formados —no “sustraídos” del servicio sanitario activo donde, a día de hoy, se sigue necesitando una primera línea de acción inmediata y efectiva— y la contratación de personal en paro, lo que podría ser un estímulo económico para muchos ciudadanos/as en tiempos de crisis”. 

Otro punto relevante en este área es el Del rastreo del virus en aguas fecales para favorecer la rapidez de la detección de restos y posibles zonas de contagio.

Con respecto a las apps de rastreo, señalan que el Gobierno español ya trabaja con una, pero reclaman que estas sean “aplicaciones no invasivas de la intimidad personal; incluso pueden ser anónimas, con posibilidad de cifrar los
resultados para el administrador para que no pueda rastrearse en ningún caso al usuario final”.

Además, insisten en la necesidad de aumentar los medios del actual modelo de pruebas PCR, para fomentar las pruebas masivas en aquellas zonas con transmisión comunitaria y otras más selectivas allí donde el virus esté más controlado.

Igualmente, remarcan la necesidad de que se trabaje con una base de datos única a nivel nacional, “con obligatoriedad de todas las CCAA de un volcado en tiempo real de datos epidemiológicos” y la comunicación con los usuarios, también en tiempo real, para atender las dudas y problemas que surjan en la red asistencial. 

El grupo de expertos pone el foco, del mismo modo, en la responsabilidad individual y llama al refuerzo de campañas para incentivar el uso de las mascarillas. la desinfección de manos y espacios públicos y la distancia de seguridad.
