Patricia Bañez sigue al frente de la clase Optimist en la Semana Náutica

Con la celebración de un total de quince pruebas más, la Semana Náutica de El Puerto de Santa María resuelve su segunda y penúltima jornada para las clases de vela ligera. A las clases Láser, 420 y Optimist se unían los Patines a Vela a los que la regata les sirve de entrenamiento de cara al Campeonato de España, que se celebra en las mismas aguas la semana que viene. Lejos de dar una tregua, el viento suave de 7/8 nudos de intensidad máxima calmó la bahía pero obligó a los regatistas a tirar de táctica y fuerza física para optimizar los barcos en la búsqueda de objetivos. Con un descarte ya en todos los casilleros a excepción de la clase Patín, la de mañana será una jornada de trámite en unos casos y decisiva en otros. El patrón del CN Sevilla, Carlos de Bricio, no ha dado tregua y ganó las dos pruebas en el estreno de la clase Patín a Vela. El vigente campeón de Andalucía de la clase le mete además tres puntos a su inmediato seguidor, Ramón Calero, del RCN de El Puerto de Santa María, 3º y 2º, y seis a José María Alarcón (CV Bahía de Cádiz) tercero con un 2º y un 6º en su marcador. A partir de aquí la igualdad es máxima, con el cuarto puesto a manos de Rafael Ruiz (CV Bahía de Cádiz) con los mismos puntos que Alarcón, seguido a uno y dos por Vicente Climent (RCN de El Puerto de Santa María) y Alfonso Merello (CN Puerto Sherry), quinto y sexto respectivamente. Patricia Bañez sigue al frente de la clase Optimist tras una jornada en la que la joven regatista del RCMT Punta Umbría valida dos segundos. Bañez llega a la jornada final con relativa comodidad pero está obligada a seguir fina ya que los cuatro puntos de ventaja los tiene sobre Arturo Arauz (CN Puerto Sherry), un regatista que además de defender el título suele crecerse con la presión. Arauz era uno de los ganadores del día, como ganadora y no por haber encajado ningún tanto es Adriana Serra (RCMT Punta Umbría) a quien descartar de su casillero un fuera de línea le permite subir del décimo noveno al tercer puesto provisional. A dos puntos se sitúa su compañera de equipo María Castillo que renta los mismos puntos a Luis Castañeda, del CN Elcano, sexto, seguido del primer sub 13 que es ahora Rodrigo Luis González, del CDN Punta Umbría. El onubense vuelve a hacer de las suyas y se cuela entre los mayores y pone más de diez puntos con su inmediato seguidor. También hay cambios entre las chicas, entre las que ahora manda Alba Moreno, del CR Madrid. Entre los más pequeños -categoría Sub 11- la primera es Mar Infante, integrante del equipo del RCMT Punta Umbría, y entre los chicos accede al primer puesto Javier Soto del CN Puerto Sherry. La clase 420 ha sido protagonista hoy por la enorme competitividad demostrada entre los aspirantes a un título que sin duda será uno de los más caros de la semana. En esta clase el nuevo liderato se decidía en la tercera y última prueba -sexta del campeonato- que ganaba la tripulación de Lucía Páez y Ángela Merello (CN Sevilla) para deshacer el empate a tres con las tripulaciones de Fernando y Carlos Flethes (CN Puerto Sherry) y la de Felipe Sánchez y Pablo López (RCN de El Puerto de Santa María). La tripulación del club anfitrión pinchaba con un cuarto en esa prueba y pasa de defender el liderato provisional a ocupar la tercera plaza con siete puntos más que los hermanos Flethes, a quienes solo les separa un punto de la chicas después de entrar segundos en la prueba del desempate. En Láser Radial se mantiene en cabeza el regatista del CR Madrid, Alfonso Moreno, que aunque rompe su imbatibilidad se vale de las rentas y valida un 2º y un 1º hoy para seguir cómodo al frente de la clasificación general provisional. También aguanta en el segundo puesto Jesús Parejo, del CN Sevilla, pero ambos eran hoy superados por Francisco Manuel Bolaños, del CN El Trocadero, quien con dos victorias y un tercero se sube a la tercera plaza y se pone a dos puntos el subcampeonato. Con un mayor desparpajo de los mayores, los juveniles Manuel Belizón, del CN Elcano, baja un puesto hasta el cuarto pero mantiene intactas sus opciones con sólo dos puntos más que su predecesor, mientras su compañera de club Lucía Van Stuivenberg hace lo propio y se sitúa quinta para seguir brillando entre las niñas. En Láser 4.7, tres primeros del regatista del CM Almería Juan José Fernández le aúpan directo al primer puesto, en una posición privilegiada de cara al desenlace ya que renta nueve puntos a su compañero de club Adriano Giménez. El tercer puesto y subiendo tres es ahora para la primera niña, la joven Rocío Van Stuivenberg, del CN Elcano, obligada a seguir en racha para mantenerse en el podio ya que tiene con los mimos puntos al acecho al también almeriense Eduardo Percelay. No ha sido un buen día pare el primer líder de la semana, el regatista del CN El Trocadero Iván Páez, que cae al sexto puesto. Por último, la flota de Láser Standard realizaba hoy dos pruebas más que suman cuatro y se mantiene en cabeza el onubense Guillermo Flores. El regatista del CN Río Piedras valida otro primero y descarta un segundo y llega líder a la jornada final con dos puntos de renta sobre su compañero en el equipo ‘Clínica Frontela Injerto Capilar’, Arturo Martínez, que suma los mismos parciales invertidos. En el tercer puesto sigue Ángel Contreras (RCN de El Puerto de Santa María) aunque en su caso se tambalea tras una jornada en la que le ha superado el deportista del CD Flota Snipe de Cádiz, Carlos Corral, con dos sextos del primero frente a un quinto y un tercero del gaditano que le colocan a las puertas de podio con los mismos puntos. Mañana jueves será la última oportunidad para intentar cambiar las cosas en el caso de quien quiera hacerlo, con el inicio de la primera de las tres pruebas previstas a las 13:00 horas. Una vez terminadas las pruebas se procederá ya en tierra a la entrega de trofeos en la que de acuerdo a los protocolos de detección y prevención del Covid-19, sólo podrán asistir los ganadores. Con el primer tercio de la semana resuelto, el viernes se abrirán paso los Cruceros en la semana Náutica, con el inicio simultáneo de la 26 Regata Juan de La Cosa.
