Vox pide declarar la inmigración como "situación de interés" para la Seguridad Nacional

El Grupo Parlamentario Vox ha registrado en el Congreso una proposición no de ley en la que insta al Gobierno a "declarar la llegada masiva de inmigrantes ilegales como situación de interés para la Seguridad Nacional".

La formación que lidera Santiago Abascal señala que "entre el viernes 24 y el sábado 25 de julio más de 800 inmigrantes ilegales argelinos llegaron a las costas españolas y, desde el 1 de agosto, son casi 2.700 las personas llegadas a España de forma irregular".

El texto registrado por el diputado de Vox y portavoz de Seguridad Nacional, Carlos Fernández Roca, subraya que la seguridad marítima y sanitaria "cobran especial interés en la Ley de Seguridad Nacional".

En este sentido, Vox asegura que la Estrategia de Seguridad Nacional actual contempla la inmigración irregular como una amenaza en sus páginas 46 y 68 al afirmar que "Europa y el mundo en su conjunto viven una de las mayores crisis migratorias registradas desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial".

Para Vox, a pesar de esta realidad, el Gobierno no ha empleado este legítimo recurso, sino que se limita a participar en la Operación Indalo, dirigida por la Agencia Europea Frontex.

Además, considera que la inmigración irregular es un peligro para la seguridad nacional "al verse sumada la variable del terrorismo". Como ejemplo, apunta la detención en Almería el pasado mes de abril del yihadista británico Abdel Bari, calificado como extremadamente peligroso por la Policía y llegado a Almería en patera desde Argelia.

"Habida cuenta de que, de los casi 4.500 inmigrantes llegados a España durante el primer semestre de 2020, el 55% era de origen argelino, el GP Vox pregunta al Gobierno qué medidas concretas ha acordado tras la reunión con las autoridades de Argelia y si baraja el Ejecutivo la posibilidad de actuar en aguas territoriales argelinas. También pregunta por el plan del Gobierno para combatir la oleada de inmigrantes irregulares", añade.

En resumen, Vox reclama al Gobierno de la nación el despliegue de todos los recursos materiales y humanos necesarios para la prevención, protección y disuasión de atraque de embarcaciones con inmigrantes ilegales.

Asimismo, solicita la petición a las autoridades europeas de más fondos a la Operación Indalo de Frontex y la creación de un fondo extraordinario de ayuda para las regiones que se están viendo especialmente afectadas por la "oleada masiva de inmigración irregular" y cuyo objeto sea el sostenimiento de las infraestructuras habilitadas ellos.
