Another disqualification petition filed against Bongbong Marcos
  MANILA, Philippines --- A group of petitioners filed before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday another case to disqualify former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. from the 2022 presidential election. Like in the previous cases filed to void Marcos' presidential bid, the latest disqualification case asserts that the former senator is barred from seeking public office as a result of his 1995 conviction for failure to file income tax returns. Gov’t fails to hit 9 million target in 3-day nat’l COVID-19 vax drive
  MANILA, Philippines --- The government fell short in achieving its goal of inoculating 9 million individuals during the three-day national COVID-19 vaccination drive from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje on Thursday reported that over 7.6 million individuals were vaccinated against COVID-19 during the drive. PARIS --- Josephine Baker, the famed French American singer and dancer, was inducted on Tuesday into the Pantheon mausoleum in Paris, one of France's highest honors, at a ceremony attended by French President Emmanuel Macron.
