TACLOBAN CITY --- Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and his cousin, Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, filed their certificates of candidacy for the same positions on Thursday, Oct. 7. Rep. Romualdez, who is the current majority floor leader of the House of Representatives, is seeking a second term for Leyte's first congressional district which covers Tacloban City and seven towns.     Partial human remains found in a Florida wilderness area have been identified through dental records as belonging to Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of murdered travel blogger Gabby Petito, the FBI said on Thursday. The remains were discovered on Wednesday in the swampy Carlton Reserve not far from Laundrie's parents' home.     WASHINGTON - The carbon-intensive production of plastics is on pace to emit more greenhouse gases than coal-fired power plants within this decade, undercutting global efforts to tackle climate change, a report released on Thursday said.
