Pogoy plays through pain, helps TNT get crucial win
MANILA, Philippines --- Roger Pogoy was a game time decision heading into Game 1 of the 2019 PBA Governors' Cup semifinals between TNT and Meralco on Sunday night. The KaTropa opted to play Pogoy in the all-important series opener and the veteran swingman did not disappoint. Pogoy is still bothered by a back injury he suffered three weeks ago, but he showed no signs of it in helping his team cruise to a 103-94 win over the Bolts. "First of all, I'm just fortunate to get enough rest to recover. Honestly, I'm still not 100 percent. It was even painful just the other day so I just took a rest and did not practice. I just tried to play through it," Pogoy said in Filipino. The...Keep on reading: Pogoy plays through pain, helps TNT get crucial win

Deputy police commissioner Mike Clement said there was "every chance" the bodies had been washed into the sea from the stream where they were last seen Monday. He added that searchers were "satisfied that the area we searched near the jetty is clear of the bodies." "The rescue teams are frustrated. Cops are targets of both love and anger at Hong Kong rallies
Several thousand people, some making heart signs with their hands, turned out in Hong Kong on Sunday in an unusual display of support for the police force, even as riot officers clashed elsewhere with protesters and pepper-sprayed a crowd. Competing rallies on Hong Kong Island and wildcat protest actions, including vandalism, by black-clad youths at shopping malls dramatically exposed the deep gulf between pro- and anti-establishment camps carved out by six months of demonstrations that have shaken and split the semi-autonomous Chinese territory. Truncheon-wielding riot officers fanned out at a shopping mall where demonstrators spray-painted protest slogans on the polished ston...Keep on reading: Cops are targets of both love and anger at Hong Kong rallies

New British research suggests that taking a daily fish oil supplement could improve your ability to see in the dark. Carried out by researchers from Loughborough University, the new study set out to investigate whether taking supplements with docosahexanoic acid (DHA), a polyunsaturated fatty acid found in fish such as mackerel, herring, tuna and halibut, could improve "dark adaptation capabilities," which is the process the eyes go through when they're adjusting to new light levels. DHA is one of the most important omega-3 fatty acids and is present in high concentrations in the retina.
