Tory MP 'Simply Forgot' To Wear Face Mask During Hour-Long Train Ride
Tory MP Danny Kruger claims he “quite simply forgot” to wear a face mask for the entire duration of an hour-long train journey. The Devizes MP was caught out by a member of the public travelling unmasked between Hungerford and London Paddington on Monday morning. After a tweet of him flouting Covid-19 rules went viral, Kruger told the Salisbury Journal he “boarded an almost empty carriage” and only “realised his mistake” when he got to the capital. Government guidelines are clear that face coverings must be worn on public transport at all times. The on-the-spot fine for failing to wear one is £100 and can double with each offence up to a maximum of £3,200.Danny kruger, the tory MP for Devises not wearing a mask for the entire Hungerford to Paddington train journey yesterday. Don’t blame it on the young people Boris when your own party aren’t even following your rules

Covid-19 has hit dance culture hard – but the party can go on | Tim Lawrence
As UK coronavirus restrictions deepen we can find new ways to share the ecstatic, communal joy of musicLast night a DJ probably didn’t save anyone’s life – but not through lack of want or need. Opinion largely views DJ-led dance culture as a self-indulgent, frivolous, non-productive pleasure. It encourages participants to escape the world rather than engage with it. Continue reading...
