Fernando Alonso prueba a fondo la nueva Toyota Hylux 2020

Durante los entrenamientos para el Rally Dakar 2020 llevado a cabo en España a finales del pasado año, Fernando Alonso y Marc Coma tuvieron la oportunidad de probar un prototipo de la nueva Toyota Hilux. Alonso y Coma realizaron este test al tiempo que proseguían su preparación junto a la Hilux Dakar de TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, con la que completaron un sobresaliente debut en el rally más duro del mundo. La nueva versión del pick-up más popular del mundo estrenará un potente motor de 2.8 litros y una nueva geometría de la suspensión, que contribuirán a mantener su excelente reputación en términos de calidad, durabilidad y fiabilidad ―Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR)―. Después de probar el prototipo de Hilux 2021 en un complicado tramo de tierra y gravilla, diseñado específicamente para rallys, Fernando Alonso explicó: “Hilux es un icono, y siempre he sido fan de este coche. Cuando vi por primera vez la nueva Hilux me pareció espectacular. Estuvo bien poder probar el nuevo modelo en un entorno difícil, en una etapa de rally, y ponerlo al límite.
