Leparkoltuk a Zsigulit, és mentünk forradalmat csinálni

Állami ünnep pogány black metállal, a Szovjetuniót 30 évesen megfúró helyi hőssel, és három kis néppel, akik megmutatták a világnak: 1989-ben kétmillió ember fogta meg egymás kezét, hogy kivívja a szabadságot. A láncból dominó lett. Balti lánc Rigából.

Scientists invented an electric baseball hat to reverse male baldness
An international team of researchers just developed the most sophisticated treatment for male baldness ever: a hat that covers up your hairless head. Wait, there’s more. It also contains a self-actuating electrical ‘patch’ that stimulates the scalp, regenerates damaged tissue, and regrows hair thicker and quicker than pharmacological treatments. Researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Shenzhen University actually developed the electrical stimulation device not the hat. What’s amazing about it is that it’s small enough to fit inside a regular baseball hat, doesn’t use batteries, and actually works. The team conducted… This story continues at The Next Web

Apple Now Planning to Release iOS 13.1 and iPadOS on September 24
Apple will release the upcoming iOS 13.1 update and iPadOS on September 24 instead of September 30 as previously planned, according to updated information on its iOS 13 and iPadOS preview pages. Following the company's September 10 event, Apple initially said that iOS 13.1 and iPadOS would come on Monday, September 30, but the updates will now be just under a week earlier. The earlier release of iPadOS will allow iPad users to get iOS 13 features on their iPads quicker, with access to Apple Arcade, Dark Mode, and more, while the iOS 13.1 release will bring missing iOS 13 features like Shortcuts Automations and Share ETA. Apple hasn't made it clear if there will be an iPadOS 13 release, but given that the update is coming on the same day as iOS 13.1, the first version of iPadOS may be iPadOS 13.1.Related Roundups: iOS 13, iPadOSThis article, "Apple Now Planning to Release iOS 13.1 and iPadOS on September 24" first appeared on MacRumors.comDiscuss this article in our forums

Apple pushes up iOS 13.1 and iPadOS to September 24th
Photo by Amelia Holowaty Krales / The Verge iOS 13.0 has just arrived, but Apple is already bumping up the release date for its first big update: both iOS 13.1 and iPadOS will now be released on September 24th instead of the originally announced September 30th release date. The company confirmed these revised dates to The Verge. iOS 13.1 will bring several features that didn’t make the cut for the initial iOS 13 release, including automated Siri Shortcut actions, a share ETA feature in Apple Maps, and data separation for enterprise devices. More importantly, Apple promises that 13.1 will bring general bug fixes to iOS 13, which the current software could definitely benefit from (our review of the current 13.0 software notes a litany of issues we encountered while testing the new update.) Other features announced for iOS 13 — like AirPod sharing and new HomeKit features — won’t ship with iOS 13.1 either, but they are promised for sometime later this fall. iPadOS is this year’s software update for Apple’s iPad tablets, unlike iOS, which will remain the software for iPhone and iPod touch devices. This marks the first time that Apple is forking its mobile operating systems. Going forward, iPadOS will be developed as a separate branch of software that shares a common base, similar to the existing watchOS and tvOS platforms.

Apple Arcade Subscription Gaming Service Goes Live Alongside iOS 13, One Month Free Trial Available
Apple Arcade, Apple's new subscription gaming service, is now available for everyone following the launch of the iOS 13 update for the iPhone. Apple Arcade offers up dozens of games for one monthly $4.99 price, and reviews of the service have been positive, praising the wide selection of available titles. Apple actually began rolling out Apple Arcade to iOS 13 and iOS 13.1 beta testers earlier this week, but now it is available to everyone who has installed the release version of iOS 13. When Apple Arcade first became available, there were just over 50 games available, but more titles have already been rolling out. Apple says that new Apple Arcade titles will be coming out on a weekly basis, with at least 100 games in the works. While Apple Arcade is priced at $4.99 per month, that price allows up to six family members to access games through Apple's Family Sharing feature. There's also a one-month free trial available, so everyone can give it a try before paying. You can access Apple Arcade through the App Store using the new Apple Arcade tab in the navigation bar. Apple Arcade looks similar to the standard App Store with apps arranged into different categories like "Start Your Adventure," "New Arrivals," "You Have to Hear This," "No Time to Blink," and more. Apple's editorial team will highlight standout Apple Arcade titles, but there's also an option to access all available games, and you can search for titles as well. Right now, Apple Arcade is available only on the iPhone, though iOS 13 and 13.1 beta testers on iPad can install the update. Apple isn't releasing iPadOS until September 30, and tvOS 13 and macOS Catalina also aren't coming out until a future date. For more details on Apple Arcade, make sure to check out our Apple Arcade guide. If you have a favorite Apple Arcade title, make sure to share it in the comments down below, because there's a lot of available content to go through. Our sister site TouchArcade also has a dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussing games, which is well worth checking out.Tag: Apple ArcadeThis article, "Apple Arcade Subscription Gaming Service Goes Live Alongside iOS 13, One Month Free Trial Available" first appeared on MacRumors.comDiscuss this article in our forums

Logitech’s excellent MX Master 2S mouse is much cheaper than usual today
The Logitech MX Master 2S is one of the best computer mice on the market, and it’s much more affordable today at Amazon. This peripheral rarely drops below $90, but you can pick one up for $59.99 right now in the white or blue color options. We saw this mouse slip down to $39.99 during Amazon Prime Day in July, but this is the best price we’ve seen since. This mouse has a lot in common with Logitech’s newer MX Master 3, though not its USB-C charge port. The MX Master 2S has the same estimated 70-day battery life; a 4,000 DPI sensor; it can quickly switch between up to three computers paired via Bluetooth; and it includes a USB Type-A dongle. This mouse also supports Logitech’s Flow software, which allows interoperability with two machines at once so you can drag a file from one onto the other without repairing to a different computer. There are a couple of other Logitech products included in Amazon’s deal of the day, including gaming headsets, mechanical keyboards, and speaker sets. So check it out if you have a few more things on your wishlist. Best Buy is hosting a nice sale on Beats Solo 3 on-ear wireless headphones. They’re $129.99, which is around the lowest that we’ve seen these sell for. Outside of the sale price, this model usually costs at least $180, and unlike most other sales on this model, Best Buy has several color options available. These are fairly standard Bluetooth headphones, but for those entrenched in Apple’s hardware, the Solo 3 feature the W1 wireless chip. As a result, these headphones can quickly pair with and switch between your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and macOS computer.

NBC looking to reboot The Office for Peacock streaming service
It was only a matter of time: NBC is actively looking to reboot The Office. “It is my hope and goal that we do an Office reboot,” Bonnie Hammer, chairman of direct-to-consumer and digital enterprises at NBC, told Deadline. A reboot of the series makes sense for Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service which will launch in April 2020 with an assortment of originals, catalog titles, and reboots, according to Deadline. The Office is one of NBC’s most popular titles, and a key driver in Peacock’s attempt to bring subscribers in. The company reportedly spent $500 million on securing the exclusive rights to The Office, which is currently streaming on Netflix but will be on Peacock beginning in 2021. Going all-in on a show that is still considered the most popular show streaming right now is NBC’s attempt to get two bites from the same apple. (Disclaimer: NBCUniversal is owned by Comcast, which is an investor in Vox Media, The Verge’s parent company.) “It is my hope and goal that we do an ‘Office’ reboot.” “We will be looking at all of them down the road and see what makes the most sense,” Hammer said of the company’s reboot plans. “When we see what the usage is on the service, if something is popping, and it’s ours, you better believe that we are going to be looking at it as a new original.” Although it’s a goal for NBCUniversal at the executive level, it’s not set in stone. Conversations are ongoing, according to Hammer, but The Office isn’t the only NBCUniversal-owned show the company is considering for a reboot. A version of The Office with some of the original cast may turn out to be impossible for the network. Steve Carell has said before he’s not interested in returning to the Dunder Mifflin setting. He’s also working on a new satirical comedy set in space with Office showrunner Greg Daniels for Netflix. NBC looking to launch an Office reboot may just be one in a long line of networks trying to find a way to modernize their top shows. A Friends reunion at WarnerMedia seems unlikely — the cast have said multiple times it won’t happen — but the company could try to find a new way into the franchise for its own streaming service, HBO Max. The company reportedly spent $425 million on securing the exclusive rights to the show, taking it away from Netflix where it currently streams.
